Yoga For Modern Life is friendly, nurturing and always down to earth. With classes, workshops, courses and retreats that always put you at the centre and have a deep rooted sense of community. Life coaching that will help you find your way to a life with more joy, happiness and purpose. I want to help you find the perfect antidote to the stress and busyness of modern life, for both body and mind.
The yoga I guide you through is rooted in traditions of yoga, but also blending with more modern body and mind practices. Interplaying yoga with mindfulness, breath work, self-care and somatic movement - to create movement and stillness that simply feels good in your unique body and helps to bring calmness to your mind. I believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard and nurtured and I create spaces and build communities where this can happen.
Specialising in Fertility Yoga, award winning Pregnancy Yoga and Mum & Baby Yoga. Yoga For Modern Life ensures that your journey towards and during motherhood is richly enhanced by nourishing your body, your mind and your baby. Plus unique Hypnobirthing & Antenatal Courses for complete birth preparation in body and mind, and Baby Massage classes - a beautiful way to connect to and calm your baby. I also provide specialist services in Perinatal and Birth Trauma relief and support. I am also a certified Coach and mentor to women, and run unique life coaching one to one sessions too.
I also teach my ‘open to all’ yoga classes and workshops including the super popular Slow Sundays Workshops , Yoga For All classes and Day Retreats. Always especially welcoming to folk who are new to yoga.
As well as In-Studio and Livestreamed, I also now have a number of completely online courses and an on-demand class library too - so you can choose to practice whenever suit you and your lifestyle.

NEW Creative Space For Mothers
A series of in person sessions to help mothers and pregnant folk come together in a positive, uplifting and fun way. Bringing together creativity, wellbeing and community for mothers in and around York. We’ll doodle, draw, collage, colour in, write and journal alongside connecting and chatting with other local mothers and pregnant folk in a supportive, friendly and welcoming space.
Open to all mothers, no matter how old your baby or child is. With plenty of tea and biscuits too!

Pregnancy Half-Day Retreats
A gorgeous afternoon mini-retreat for pregnant folk to come and find some real me-time. Soothing yoga, breath work, lots of time for relaxation practices - and with delicious homemade refreshments to treat yourself.
